The PCZ Spartans Officially Join The EUCHL

The PCZ Spartans have officially been formed and will compete in the European Union College Hockey League (EUCHL).

This groundbreaking program was created by North Americans and for North American players seeking an elite combination of education and international hockey experience. The PCZ Spartans offer a unique opportunity for players affected by recent NCAA rule changes, as well as those who wish to pursue a professional hockey career in Europe after completing their studies.

Academic Program

The Spartans are based at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, one of the Czech Republics leading universities

Players will enroll in a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Program, with all courses taught entirely in English. The program provides a global academic environment where student-athletes study alongside international students while enjoying full campus life and on-campus housing.

Hockey and Career Opportunities

Competing in the EUCHL places the Steelhawks in front of professional scouts from across Central Europe, including Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Austria.

The program is designed for motivated student-athletes who are serious about both their education and hockey development, preparing them to transition seamlessly into professional hockey after graduation.
